Showing Love & Forgiveness?”

Verse of Concentration: Proverbs 17:9

“He who covers and forgives an offense seeks love, but he who repeats or harps on a matter separates even close friends”.

Pilate was put in the position of judging Jesus, and in spite of all the accusations, rumors, and so-called witnesses against Him, Pilate said “he could find no fault in Jesus (who knew no sin)”. So then, who are we in uncovering another’s sins or faults to continue to hold them hostage because of it, and bring it up over and over again?

Galatians 6:1 says, “Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.”

Whether a person’s faults/sins are true or not, be careful of what you say unless you dash your foot against a stone for we’ve all sinned and fallen short okay. Temptation is always laying in wait to jump all over the believer. Don’t press others further into the dark. Let us show charity (love) and forgiveness towards one another. We are to be a beacon of light illuminating God’s love on the lost, a part of the restoration process.

Focus: Don’t be offended – show love and forgiveness.
